About HGL

HGL was established in 2007 and is the trading name for me myself I, Brian Stubbings. Originating in Kent I now live, and work from, Hayling Island in Hampshire.

My Background

Way back in 1984 I received my degree from the University of Kent and promptly began a career in software design, implementation and test. This work took me all around the South of England working for various large defence companies until in 2007 I decided that it was time for a change of direction.

That change was setting up HGL and turning my lifetime hobby of website design into a new career. My greatest love is doing the artwork and the search engine optimisation (SEO). Getting people to find a website before they find the competition is always an exiting challenge.

Recently, I have become more interested in CGI and have produced many 3D animations for an international engineering company.
